Under this title I made seven linocuts that were inspired by a trip through the southwest of the United States. The prints are about the colorful population of the country, the poor that creatively manage to earn their living blessed by the American flag, the capitalism and the burning sun.
It was mid summer. I accompanied my friend who had to give a presentation at an ecology congress in Tuscon Arizona. Afterwards we rented a car and explored Arizona, Utah and New Mexico going from one motel to the other……
